I am Back Home and Ready to Go Again

Thank God who protects me during my stay in Africa

I made it safe last night at home after travelling for 26 hours from Africa to USA, and I was welcomed by my daughter, my son Elisha and my wonderful wife whom I missed so much for the last three months, by seeing them I understood that nothing could be comparing to family.  I am relaxing at home before I can get back to my routine life in USA.

I am here for two months to be with my family and to conduct fundraising effort for the work in Kinshasa, D R Congo and Central Africa Region.  I will join next month by my regional Director for Africa, Dr. Samson Makhado, a wonderful man of God who inspires and mobilizes workers for the work of God in Africa, specially in education field, his assistant Director Gavin, Mr. Mike Epps, the Vice President of ACSI Global, and Mrs. Jan Stump Director of Education Foundation. We are planning an information and fundraising dinner on November 14, 2013.  Please join us and call 616 589 5435 for more information.

We have 6 Millions students to equip and provide a good education system in God's worldview and Christian environment, and we have 250 000 school administrators and teachers to re-train and get to certification and accreditation process in 18 549 schools in Congo without adding in Gabon, Republic of Congo, Republic of Chad, Centrafrica Republic, Equator Guinea and Republic of Cameroon, which we (ACSI and ECC/ School Coordination) are planning to establish in the country for the next five years.

Therefore we are planning to create a system to re-train all educators in Central Africa Region.  we are working to start Protestant Academy of Modern Pedagogy that it will become school of education (graduate school or Master level), establish an accreditation process, develop a strategic plan to cover all country in lapse of time, and to empower the authorities and existing system to become transforming structure that it is leading the change needed in education field.

To succeed in this effort, we need all to participate by praying that the Lord our God to send workers (mostly we need teachers who will be monitoring others, and we  need Christian teachers and instructors.), we need funds because we will move in the country and invite professors around the world to join us in Congo to equip Christian teachers who are preparing
It was amazing experience being back in Africa and teaching "Theology of the Church Fathers" in Gabon.

  1. Mitogo, we look forward to visiting your USA home town for the November fundraising event. Your USA living circumstances must be a life-time away from Kinshasa,, even though it was 26 hours travel. I look forward to the development of our projects for gradual, but determined improvement in DRC education. Gavin Brettenny
